Book Overview: The Day the Crayons Quit
The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt, illustrated by Oliver Jeffers, is a funny and imaginative story about Duncan and his box of crayons. One day, Duncan opens his crayon box and discovers that the crayons have written him letters explaining why they are unhappy. Blue is tired of coloring so much, Black wants to do more than outlines, and Yellow and Orange can’t agree about who should be the color of the sun.
